Pysanky and Batik Art Eggs are handmade using real blown eggshells. The beeswax used to write the designs and the eggshells are regionally sourced whenever possible.
Traditional pysanky is a folk art using melted beeswax written on real eggshells dipped in dye to create beautiful designs. In ancient times, these eggs were talismans against the dark during rites for spring. Jennifer creates modern original Batik Art Eggs that incoporate elements of traditional pysanky with inspiration from the world around her.
